Thank You for Supporting the 2nd Annual Schlemmer Family Golf Outing!

We are incredibly grateful for your support of our mission to raise awareness and funds for the Silence ALS Initiative at Columbia University.

Our family carries a nano-rare genetic mutation in the TARDBP gene, which can cause both ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). These diseases have impacted multiple generations of our family, resulting in heartbreaking loss. Today, however, advancements in research have given us renewed hope for future treatments and, ultimately, a cure.

We invite you to join us on Saturday, September 19, 2026, for a memorable day of golf, fellowship, food, and fundraising. Whether you’re golfing, sponsoring, donating, or helping spread awareness, your support plays a vital role in advancing life-changing research.
